Listed in the table below are the community water systems (CWSs)
required to certify completion of a risk and resilience assessment
(RRA) and emergency response plan (ERP) under section 1433 of the
Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), also known as section 2013 of
America's Water Infrastructure Act (AWIA), for the 2025-2026
compliance cycle. EPA used the state Safe Drinking Water Information
System Federal Reporting Services (SDWIS Fed) population served data
reported by each CWS to their primacy agency as of March 31, 2024,
to determine the 2025-2026 compliance cycle list. Certification
deadlines are as follows:
Wholesale CWSs (CWSs that sell or provide water to other CWSs according to EPA data), are marked with a "Yes" in the "Wholesaler" column in the table below; CWSs that are not wholesalers are marked with a “No” in the "Wholesaler" column. EPA will continue to assess population served data for wholesaler CWSs to verify that they belong on the wholesaler list, and if so, determine their system size.
The RRA and ERP Certification status columns in the table will be continuously updated as EPA receives certifications throughout the compliance cycle. Please email dwresilience@epa.gov with any questions.
